///COACHELLA 2011

I miss you so much...and it's only been about 15 hours since we last left each other.. you were so good to me! irghviujfkghvnerjfdkmbvrjdgmnrjk.

Gonna sum it up:

FRIDAY: started with Miguel, I didn't know his music but I enjoyed it. Then went to Tokimonsta, it was in this tent called Sahara, which is kind of like a rave tent. It was fun so my friend and I went to the front..stayed till 12th Planet, still in the front- got really hot and sweaty and gross so we went to go eat and chill out in the fun booths and to this one tent called the DO Lab. It's this tent were you dance to really fucking good dubstep and go crazy while people on stage are watering you with a hose. So much fun! After that, no other bands or artists we wanted to see were playing until later so we went to the Sahara tent again and Skrillex was playing, so good, went to the frontttttt..we arrived late so up next was OFWGKTA (Odd Future)..and omg my friend and i were the only girls in the front and the rest was like sweaty ass guys and my friend were suffocating so we had to crowd surf our way out...when we did, we went to go see Cee-Lo Green, who was pretty awesome, and by the time Cee-Lo was done we went to Afrojack, this was soooo unbelievably good. We did something after but I don't remember. We then went to go see Crystal Castles, we didn't like it at allllllll so we went to Kings of Leon, they were really good except they played some of their old stuff which i wasn't too familiar with but I still enjoyed it! After KOL we went to Robyn, who is by far one of the most unique person I have ever seen. I knew all of the songs she performed, sooooo good. And then since we had nothing else to do, we went to the Sahara tent which was reallllly fun, obvi..Now that the festival was over-ish, we had to walk the longest walk ever. It was about two fucking miles and my feet were kiiillliingg me! We made it, lol, and went to bed to be in shape for day 2..

Saturday: was really chill. We went to CVS to get paint and painted our bodies and wrote things like  'Coachella' and 'free hugs!'..of course it was crayola paint so it started to come off...LOL we went to the water tent because it was like 105 degrees, i was dyingggg. Nothing we wanted to see didn't start till later so we went to the fun booths/tents like 5 gum and Sony. We saw Two Door Cinema Club who were PHENOMENAL! So unbelievably good, definitely one of the performances i will ALWAYS remember..After that, my friend and I split and I went to Laidback Luke and she went to Yelle.. Worst mistake I have ever made. Laidback was sooooooo bad, and she told me Yelle was sooo good. :(( We then went to Mumford & Suns at the main stage and we just chilled out and laid down on the grass, just listening to music and relaxingg, felt soo good. We stayed for Animal Collective, who were okay.. we didn't really enjoy them that much, so we went to Empire of the Sun, they were SOOO GOOOD! So much fun too! Then on the way there, I realized that people at Coachella are soo friendly, they all say Happy Coachella and cute things like that, like that night, I was walking and this random, cute British guy came up to me and started complementing me and saying nice things, it was cute :) We then went to Arcade Fire, or at least I think we did..I don't really remember..and then the night was over and walked those two miles again and went to bed and got ready for day 3!

Sunday: such a good day.. We arrived a bit late so we didn't get to see Eliza Doolittle, but we did see Twin Shadow who I enjoyed very muchhh, we then went to go meet up with friends and hung out under the Mojave tent and listened to Plan B and Delorean it was really fun and relaxing. Then we went to the main stage and listened to Jacks' Mannequin and Wiz Khalifa, Jack's Mannequin was fun, but for Wiz, it was alright, I'm not a huge fan of his music  and it was 2830921 degrees out side..so i was like eh wahteva lawl...I didn't get to see Angus and Julia Stone but I did see Ellie Goulding who is just ADORABLE! We then went to the Sahara tent to listen to Duck Sauce but they weren't playing until later so we stayed through Sven Väth...After Duck Sauce we went to Chromeo, where @sopheezy (Sophia) had the TIMEEE of her life and once they were done, we went to the Strokes, SO FUCKING GOOD. JULIAN CASABLANCAS IS SO HOT, i knew all the songs they played, so happy. Here we were in the middle-ish front and we wanted to stay for, of course, Kanye West. We fought so hard for to be in the front...Sophia crowd surfed her way to the front and it made like space for me to run after..and for those 30 minutes it took for the stage to get ready for Kanye was total fucking hell. It was so hot and sweaty and unbearable, but in the end it was totally worth it. Kanye started with Power and ended with Hey Mama. Such a good way to end the three, most amazing days of my life..
